Auditions for the DC Players’ fall production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” will be held Sept. 10 and 11 on the Defiance College campus.
Director Ken Neuenschwander has announced that auditions are open to anyone 10 years of age and older. He said a large cast is needed for the musical production, particularly chorus members.
Auditions will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sept. 10 and 11 in Schauffler Hall on the DC campus. For more information, contact Neuenschwander at 419-966-2532 or 419-598-8105.
First performed in London in 1968, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” was written by Andrew Lloyd Weber and Tim Rice. Based on the Biblical tale of Joseph and his 11 brothers, the light-hearted musical was first performed on Broadway in 1982.
