Defiance College professor offers
data recovery to flood victims

As a service to Ottawa-area flood victims, a Defiance College professor is volunteering his services as well as those of his students to recover data from flood-damaged computers.

Dr. Gregg Gunsch, associate professor of computer forensics, noted that the service is free, but is not guaranteed to work. “We will exercise due diligence to recover what we can, damage nothing else, and preserve the privacy of the person and information,” he said.
