Dr. Gerald Bazer to speak on
Harry S. Truman at Town and Gown

Dr. Gerald Bazer, former Provost at Owens Community College and highly regarded historian will speak at Defiance College as part of the ongoing Town & Gown series.   Bazer, who specializes in the American Presidency, will investigate Harry S. Truman’s administration and how some of today’s issues can be traced to the late 1940s.  Bazer will speak in the Banquet Room of DC’s Serrick Center on Thursday Sept. 18 starting at 7:30 pm.  All Town & Gown events are free and open to the public and are sponsored by DC’s Department of History and the City of Defiance.
