Defiance College Community Band’s Tribute to Our Veterans Concert to be held November 11

The annual Tribute to Our Veterans concert will be presented by the Defiance College Community Band on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the Defiance Community Auditorium, downtown Defiance.

 Features of the evening will include special video and musical tributes to the men and women who served in World War II, a narration by local author and World War II veteran Dick Small and a selection by the DCCB Trumpet Trio. 

The grand finale will feature voices of area church choirs singing “The Battle Hymn of the Republic.”

 "We look forward to recognizing our many veterans and their families for their service to our country," said director Vincent Polce. 

The concert is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:45 p.m.
