Defiance College will host a brown-bag Interfaith Lunch series beginning Friday, January 23, from 12 noon to1 p.m. in the Serrick Campus Center. Guest presenters will be from different faith backgrounds and will share information about their faith journeys as well as answer questions. Guest presenters include:
Friday, January 23, Hubbard Banquet Room: Doris Fogel, director of the Fort Wayne Jewish Federation will speak on Reform Judaism and the Holocaust.
Thursday, January 29, Hubbard Banquet Room: Dean Johnson, DC faculty member, will speak about the Church of the Brethren.
Friday, February 13, Buchman Board Room: Spiro Mavroidis, DC faculty member, will discuss Greek Orthodoxy.
Friday, February 20, Buchman Board Room: Mohammed Darabie, Bowling Green State University/former DC faculty member, will speak about Islam.
The Interfaith Lunch series is sponsored by the Intercultural College/Community Task Force, and the Office of Spiritual Life of Defiance College. The events are free and open to the community.
