DEFIANCE, Ohio – Photographer’s Forum magazine recently named Defiance College junior Brooke Shinabarger, Antwerp, a finalist in the 29th Annual Student Photography Contest. Shinabarger’s photograph of her newborn niece will be published in the Best of College Photography 2009 with other winners, honorable mentions and finalists. More than 4,000 students from the United States, Canada and around the world participated.

The contest is sponsored by Nikon, USA.

Shinabarger is a business major at Defiance College where she was a 2009 McMaster Scholar to Belize.
