DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College Office of Intercultural Relations will host a Hispanic Awareness dinner and lecture on Thursday, September 24. The guest speaker will be Dr. John Kaiser Ortiz, a professor at Bowling Green State University, who will present “Between You, Me and the Fence Post: Mexico and the United States.”
The dinner will be held in the Serrick Campus Center, Hubbard Banquet Room at 6 p.m. Cost of the dinner is $5 per person, payable at the door. Please RSVP to Mercedes Clay at 419-783-2362 or mclay@defiance.edu.
The lecture will be held in Schomburg Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
