DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College’s Schomburg Series and co-sponsor Defiance Community Cultural Council will close the concert season with Ball in the House. This five-man, pop, R&B and gospel band hailing from Boston will perform on Thursday, March 25, at 7:30 p.m. in the historic Valentine Theater, corner of Clinton and Fourth Streets, Defiance.
Defiance College, chartered in 1850, is an independent, liberal arts institution in Northwest Ohio offering more than 40 undergraduate programs of study as well as graduate programs in education and business. Ball in the House takes a cappella to the next stage with vocal drums/beatbox and vocal bass to create a harmony that appeals to all ages. The group has gone through numerous phases and changes on its way to becoming one of the best-known and most-loved acts in the a cappella community today. The members include Dave Guisti, Dan Szynczak, Aaron Loveland, Ryan Chappelle and Jon Ryan.
