DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College presents a “Spring Celebration of Defiance Performing Arts” on Sunday, April 25, at 4:30 p.m. The musical variety event will be held in the sanctuary of St. John United Church of Christ, 950 Webster St.
The concert is a celebration of the revival of music programs on the Defiance College campus and features performances by the DC String Group, DC Chamber Singers and local celebrity group BrassWorks. Each ensemble will perform a short presentation creating a fast-paced, high variety showcase to entertain audience members of all ages.
“Join us Sunday afternoon to celebrate the tremendous performing arts abilities Defiance has to offer and future events to look forward to,” said Andrew Schultz, Defiance College music director.
The event is open to the public, and a free will offering will be accepted. A reception will immediately follow in the fellowship hall.
Defiance College, chartered in 1850, is an independent, liberal arts institution in Northwest Ohio offering more than 40 undergraduate programs of study as well as graduate programs in education and business.
