DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College seniors majoring in art, visual arts education, and graphic design will present their cumulative work during the upcoming Senior Art Show exhibit. There will be a variety of works including paintings, drawings, ceramics and more. The exhibit will be held April 5 through May 9 in the Women’s Commission Gallery located in Dana Hall on the campus of Defiance College. A public reception with the artists will be held on Saturday, May 8, from 3-5 p.m.
The participating seniors include: Kaylee Buzard, Dalton, graduating with a degree in art; Shanna Chuenyane, Columbia, Md., graphic design; Sara Collins, Port Clinton, graphic design with minor in marketing; Elizabeth Frankart, Holgate, visual arts education; Saffron Goetschius, Las Vegas, Nev., art; La Tousha Lewis, Defiance, art; Damaris Morales, Stryker, graphic design; Daniel Mull, Galion, graphic design with minor in art; Matthew Temple, Paulding, art; and Melissa Wagner, Defiance, visual arts education.
The Women’s Commission Gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays, and at other times by appointment. Any questions may be directed to gallery coordinator, Jan Bechtel, at 419-783-2444.
