DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Hench Autism Studies Program at Defiance College will hold a parent meeting on Thursday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m. in the Hubbard Banquet Room, located in the Serrick Campus Center.
Dr. Jo Ann Burkhardt, director of the Hench Autism Studies Program at DC, will speak about how the autism program has expanded in the past few years and how people with autism can participate in particular programs.
The Hench Autism Studies Resource Center in the Pilgrim Library will be open and available for attendees.
Parents and others interested in programs serving children with autism are encouraged to attend. If you have any questions about the meeting or have information to share, please contact Fred Coulter at (419) 783-2416 or autism@defiance.edu.
