DEFIANCE, Ohio – The music of the season will be featured as the Defiance College Community Band presents the seventh Annual Holiday Pops Concert. The concert will be held Tuesday, Dec. 6, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Defiance Community Auditorium, downtown Defiance.
Kids of all ages will enjoy many traditional Christmas selections that include vocal soloists Randy Schroeder and 10-year-old Hannah Booth, dancers from the Defiance Dance Studio, a performance by the DC Chamber Singers, an audience sing-a-long, and many other holiday surprises.
“We are pleased to present this holiday package to our audience,” said music director Vince Polce.
“Parents should bring their cameras as we will have a special visitor from the North Pole with a gift for all the children.”
To better serve the children, there will be an early 7 p.m. curtain. The event is free and open to the public.
