DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College Women’s Commission Gallery is currently hosting an exhibit of works by husband and wife team William Mancuso and Melissa Eddings, both of whom are art professors at Ohio Northern University. The exhibit will run through Feb. 11, with a closing reception scheduled that afternoon from 4-6 p.m.
Eddings’ images are drawn from the everyday life around her: swimmers in a pool, laundry on a line, birds in her backyard, which she explores in series of small paintings. Mancuso’s paintings and drawings explore the interconnectedness of humans and nature in bright watercolors and oils.
The Women’s Commission Gallery is located on the campus of Defiance College in Dana Hall. It is open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. weekdays, or by appointment. Exhibits and receptions are free and open to the public. For more information please contact Jan Bechtel, Gallery Coordinator, at 419-783-2444, or jbechtel@defiance.edu.
