DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College Players will perform “Story Theatre” on Feb . 24-26 at 8 p.m. in the Schomburg Auditorium. The production is a stage adaptation by Paul Sills of stories in the Brothers Grimm Collection and Aesop’s Fables.
The production includes ten well-known and not so well-known stories of the Brothers Grimm and Aesop and is a show of transformations. From the characters in each story, the actors from scene to scene create an atmosphere that audiences can reflect upon and relate to their own lives.
The cast includes DC students Samantha Davis, Grover Hill; Olivia Ehrle, Franklin, Ind.; Andrea Galbraith, Medina; Alaina Hammond, Tipp City; Jerika Hennes, Jamestown; Samantha Habern, Paulding; Jared James, North Baltimore; Anthony Jamison, Cleveland; Dustin Manson, Paulding; Michael Pigoni, Cleveland; Jennifer Reolfi, North Canton; Jessica Spangler, Seville; Kaitlin Switzer, Defiance and Mark Vandevender, Westlake. Also appearing are Bianca Briones and DC professor Kristin Sorensen.
