DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College Senior Art Show is currently on display in the Women's Commission Gallery located in Dana Hall on the campus of Defiance College. The Senior Art Show affords upcoming graduates the opportunity to share their collective works of art accumulated over the past four years with their family, friends, peers and community.
Participants include: Amber Apt, Bryan, graduating with a degree in educational visual arts; Bryce Beasley, Springfield, art and psychology; Erin Cartwright, Defiance, graphic design and a minor in art; Allison Clark, Willard, graphic design with a minor in art; Brittany Cordes, Napoleon, graphic design and art; Nicole Diers, Pleasant Hill, art; Rachelle Pierce Durham, Paulding graphic design; Danielle Fahy, Napoleon, graphic design with a minor in marketing; John Graves, Defiance, graphic design with a minor in art; Derek Hanson, Wauseon, art; Nicole Lovins, Pettisville, graphic design; Tierney may, Akron, art; Suzanne Osburn, Delta, art with a minor in marketing; and Leslie Wilson, Dayton, art with a minor in English.
The show will feature paintings, drawings, prints, pottery and jewelry as well as multimedia projects.
The exhibit runs through May 8. A public reception for the artists will be held on Saturday, May 7, from 2 to 5 p.m.
The Women's Commission Gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays, and at other times by appointment. Any questions may be directed to Gallery Coordinator Jan Bechtel at 419-783-2444.
