Dr. Gerald Bazer to Present
at Next Town and Gown

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College and the City of Defiance will host Dr. Gerald Bazer, Dean Emeritus of Owens Community College and well-known author, for the next Town and Gown, War of 1812 presentation on Thursday, April 14. The 7:30 p.m. lecture will be held in the Schomburg Auditorium on the campus of Defiance College.

Dr. Bazer will present “Andrew Jackson’s Role in the War of 1812.”

The event is free and open to the public.

Defiance College, chartered in 1850, is an independent, liberal arts institution in Northwest Ohio offering more than 40 undergraduate programs of study as well as graduate programs in education and business.
