DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College’s Center for Adult and Graduate Programs will hold an open house for the college’s new evening bachelor’s degree completion program in social work. The event will include two information sessions and will be held on Wednesday, May 18, in the Serrick Campus Center, Hubbard Banquet Room at 4:30 – 5:45 p.m. or 5:45 – 7:00 p.m.
Each information session will include a casual reception and presentation with opportunities for questions. Professors from the social work program will be available for questions. Attendees are encouraged to bring their transcripts if possible. Campus staff will be available to review transcripts and make suggestions on what additional classes could be taken at a community college before starting at DC.
The new completion program will start in 2012 and gives students the ability to complete a bachelor’s degree in social work in as few as four semesters. Students could start as early as fall 2011 depending on their prior coursework.
To RSVP for the event, please contact the Center for Adult and Graduate Programs at 419-783-2351 or CAP@defiance.edu.
If you are unable to attend the open house event but would like more information, contact the Center for Adult and Graduate Programs.
