“Hairspray” opens Oct. 18

Defiance College's own Dr. Ken Wetstein takes a lead role in this week's production of "Hairspray," the Tony Award-winning musical. The production is a joint presentation of the DC Players and the Fort Defiance Players and features many DC students, alumni, faculty and staff. Performances are Oct. 18-20 at 8 p.m. and Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. at the Defiance Community Auditorium, downtown Defiance. Reserved seats are $12, and general admission is $10. Reservations are available by calling 419-782-PLAY(7529).
