Defiance Hosts Annual Faculty Art Show

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College will open the 2012 Faculty Art Show in the Women’s Commission Gallery on Wednesday, Jan. 25. The college will also host a community reception to celebrate the opening on Wednesday from 4 - 6 p.m.

Recent works by faculty members Doug Fiely, Kathy Funderburg, and Jason Stockman will be on display. Works will include paintings, prints, drawings, and ceramics. Many pieces will be available for purchase.

The faculty show will run through March 2.

The Women’s Commission Gallery is located on the campus of Defiance College in Dana Hall.  It is open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. weekdays, or by appointment.  Exhibits and receptions are free and open to the public.  For more information please contact Jan Bechtel, Gallery Coordinator, at 419-783-2444, or jbechtel@defiance.edu.
