Defiance College to host Military Appreciation Day

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College will hold a Military Appreciation Day on Saturday, Jan. 26, at the DC-Transylvania basketball doubleheader. All area military veterans and their immediate family members will be admitted to the men’s and women’s games free with a military ID.

The women’s game will tip off at the Weaner Community Center at 1 p.m., with the men’s game following at approximately 3 p.m. Veterans and family members will also receive free popcorn and a drink.

The WCC is located on 1100 Webster Street, just south of Stadium Drive.

The event is sponsored by the Defiance College veterans service committee.
