Welcome to the Defiance College Presidential Search Committee website. As chairman of the Board of Trustees, I am excited about the possibilities that this search process provides.

Defiance College is well-positioned to meet the needs of a 21st century global society, and I know that many excellent candidates will consider joining us as we offer one of the best small college experiences students hope to find.

Dedicated and talented faculty and staff provide the bedrock of Defiance College’s academic excellence within a distinctive, nationally-recognized culture of engagement. With a strong foundation of educating citizens for lives of leadership and service, Defiance College provides amazing opportunities for students to make a meaningful impact on society.

The Presidential Search Committee includes members of the Board of Trustees and representatives from faculty, staff, alumni and students. They have accepted my invitation to lead the campus in this all-important endeavor.
