GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced the fall honorees for Academic All-HCAC. Academic All-Conference selections must own a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 and be varsity athletes.
The cumulative GPA is the student-athlete’s GPA at the end of the semester preceding the end of the fall season. The student-athlete must have completed the equivalent of a full academic year and be enrolled full time at the institution to be eligible for the Academic All-Conference honor.
Defiance placed 18 student-athletes on the list for the fall semester and ranked fourth in the league with that total. Rose-Hulman led the way with 33 and was followed by Anderson, Mount St. Joseph, Defiance and Manchester to round out the top five.
