Cross Country and Track Announce Visit Day

DEFIANCE, Ohio – On Saturday, January 19, the coaches and student-athletes from the Defiance College track and field and cross country programs will be hosting a visit day for prospective recruits.
Those in attendance will have the chance to meet with the DC coaching staff as well as several current members of the programs. Visitors will also get a tour of the DC campus, a meal in the dining hall and the chance to see all that DC has to offer.

DC Competes at NCAA Regional Championships

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Defiance College men’s and women’s cross country teams competed in the NCAA Regional Championships on Saturday, November 10.
Three Jackets broke the 30-minute barrier in the race, helping the team to its fastest average time of the season (29:49). Tyler Reese and Nic Alvarez finished right beside each other, completing the course in 29:10 and 29:14. Jackets Run at HCAC Championship Meet

HANOVER, Ind. – The Defiance College men’s and women’s cross country teams competed in the HCAC Championships at Hanover College on Saturday, October 27. The men’s team earned a seventh place finish, while the women finished the meet in eighth.
Senior Nic Alvarez led the men, finishing the 8k race in 29:22 good for 29th. Tyler Reese was the next DC runner to cross the finish line, placing 32nd with a time of 29:55... (read more)
