Jacket Offense vs. Jacket Defense
Defiance, Ohio— The Defiance College Football team staged a preseason scrimmage on the DC campus Sunday afternoon as the offense put two touchdowns on the board versus the tough Jacket defense.
Senior quarterback Patrick Henry (Avon, Ohio) went 3-for-7 for 47 yards while only appearing in the first two offensive possessions. Junior tight end Ricky Calverley (Royal Oak, Mich.) hauled in a four-yard touchdown reception while freshman running back Darin Lomason (Prescott, Mich.) broke a 46-yard touchdown run late in the affair.

Senior wide receiver Kevin Dixon (Miami, Florida) looked sharp on special teams, breaking two kick-off returns across the 50-yard line. Junior kicker Keith Wilson connected on 1-of-3 field goal attempts and performed consistently on kick-offs.

Defiance will welcome Heidelberg College to Coressel Stadium for a scrimmage on Friday, before opening the season on the following Saturday when Otterbein comes to town at 1:30 p.m.
