2005-06 at Defiance: Started each of DC’s 25 games during sophomore season and responded by posting career highs in nearly every statistical category … The defensive specialist led the Jackets with 1.6 steals per game while also topping the roster by shooting 43 percent in over 40 attempts from beyond the arc … Was second on the team with 4.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists per contest … Ended the season among the leaders in the HCAC, ranking fifth in steals and top 20 in rebounds, offensive rebounds and blocks.
2004-05 at Defiance: Broke into the DC starting lineup midway through his freshman season and remained there due to hardworking defensive play and solid work on the boards … Often matched up against the opposition’s biggest offensive threat … Scored a career-high of six points in DC’s upset win over No. 15 Hanover on February 12, when he went 2-for-2 from beyond the arc … Grabbed a career-high six rebounds at Mount St. Joseph on February 5, after hauling in four rebounds against Bluffton on January 26 and at Manchester on January 12 … Played a season-high 30 minutes at Hanover on January 22 and logged 28 minutes in the February 12 win over the Panthers.
High School: A three-sport athlete in basketball, football and baseball, Post played for head coaches Jeff Starkey, Joe Niekamp and John Dainer at St. Henry High … Won the Division III Ohio State Championship in basketball in 2004 after being crowned state champs in baseball in 2003 … Was named honorable-mention all-conference.
