DC men pick up first win over Thomas More

--Wilmington, Ohio—After falling by one point in their season opener, the DC Yellow Jackets earned their first win of the year, 94-78, over Thomas More at the Razik Classic on the campus of Wilmington College.

Curt Croy led the Jackets to victory, scoring 27 points, grabbing six rebounds, and dishing out three assists. Phil Blasko was the next leading scorer with 10 points, while Matt Voland had six rebounds, and Mike Lentz distributed three assists in the post. The Jackets led 50-42 at the half and held on to outscore TM 44-36 in the second half to preserve the win.

Making use of a quick start, the Jackets jumped out to a 22-3 in the first five minutes of the game to put Thomas More behind the eight ball.

The Jackets are now 1-1 on the year and will next travel to Heidelberg on Tuesday for a 7:30 p.m. match-up with the Princes.
