Men's Golf Wraps Up Season at HCAC Championship

FT. WAYNE, Ind. – The 2008 spring season came to an end on Saturday for the Defiance College men’s golf team with a seventh place finish in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships.

Cody Anderson, Craig Holman and Aaron Konold each braved the tough elements to improve their fourth round scores by at least three stokes from round three. Konold Leads DC in Third Round of HCAC Tourney

FT. WAYNE, Ind. – Defiance College shot a 346 as a team in Friday's third round of the 2008 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships and maintained its position in seventh place in the standings.

Aaron Konold carded an 83 to lead all Yellow Jackets on the afternoon.

Cody Anderson leads Defiance in the tournament with a three-round total of 250 and is tied for 21st heading into the final round on Saturday.

Transylvania continues to lead the team standings and is followed by Anderson and Franklin.
Konold's 83 was the best round of the day for Defiance.
