Defiance College Open Results

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Cody Anderson shot an 80 and ended seventh to lead a string of Defiance players in the top 10 in Sunday’s Defiance College Open held at Kettenring Country Club. Anderson was directly followed in the standings by Jace Neal and Josh Calame as the Jackets closed their fall season.

The three-team, 24-man tournament was played as an individual event and dominated by Tiffin University. Spencer Schabel fired a one-over par 72 to win the event by three strokes over teammates Andy Kronander and Tom Conway.

Three other Tiffin players followed in the standings before Anderson, Neal and Calame rounded out the top 10. Neal carded a 37 on the front nine, but struggled over the back nine and ended with an 81. Calame was next in line with an 82. Aaron Konold just missed a top-ten finish with his 84, Craig Holman tied for 14th with an 87 and Jarret Ensign ended 20th after posting a 93.
