Defiance Spring Fling Results

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Jace Neal and Josh Calame came in under 80 and finished among the top five on the leader board of Tuesday’s Defiance College Spring Fling. The single-round event featured players from Defiance, Indiana Tech and Olivet.

Olivet’s Eric Ross and Joe Kiss competed as individuals and each ended with a 72 to tie for the top individual score. Indiana Tech’s Casten Reed shot a 77 to finish third and DC’s Neal (78) and Calame (79) rounded out the top five.

Aaron Konold carded an 80 to finish in a tie for eighth, while Craig Holman shot an 82 and Cody Anderson ended with an 84 to complete Defiance’s team score. Greg Vogt also competed for Defiance as an individual and ended with a 90.

Indiana Tech edged out Defiance by one stroke, taking the top team score with a 318, compared to DC’s one-day total of 319.
