Holman's 78 Leads Yellow Jackets at OSU-Lima Invitational

LIMA, Ohio – Defiance College scored 340 as a team and finished 11th in the single round OSU-Lima Invitational on Friday afternoon. The tournament consisted of over 15 teams and was held at the Hawthorne Hills Country Club.

Craig Holman led the way once again for Defiance with a score of 78 to end just six strokes off pace of the leader. Cody Anderson’s 82 and Jarret Ensign’s 88 were next in line for the Jackets, while Ryan Gladieux and Greg Vogt finished the event with scores of 92 and 96.

The team championship was won by Shawnee State after it posted a team score of 299 to win the event by 10 full strokes. SSU’s David Mays earned medalist honors by shooting a 72 to post the top individual score by one stroke.

The Yellow Jackets will get right back into action on Saturday and Sunday when they compete in the Ohio Northern Invitational.
