ONU Spring Invitational Results

ADA, Ohio – The Defiance College men's golf team competed in the ONU Spring Invitational this weekend at the Colonial Golfers Club. The Jackets finished 16th in the event as Owens Community College claimed the team title with a score of 590 in the two-day event.

Senior Cody Anderson led Defiance with a two-round score of 169, edging teammate Josh Calame (170) by one stroke. Craig Holman finished with a score of 173, while Greg Vogt recorded a 174 over the two rounds.

Mount Union's Lucas Murray claimed medalist honors with a two-day score of 146, edging out Owens' Jason Smith and Heidelberg's Zack Koinis in a playoff.

Defiance will compete in the HCAC Championships this weekend in Seymour, Ind. The first round will begin on Friday, April 25 at 12:00 p.m., with the second round beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 26.
