Eustache named Frosh of the Year; Able, Riley, Wilkins All-HCAC
--Defiance, OhioKarl Eustache has been named soccer “Freshman of the Year” by the Heartland Conference, while Branden Able, Joel Wilkins and Aaron Riley, along with Eustache, each earned a spot on the All-HCAC team.
Eustache, from Millersburg, Ohio, led the Jackets with six assists while also ending second on the squad with five goals. Able, last year’s “Freshman of the Year”, and a product of Cincinnati, Ohio, led DC in goals with six and dished out three assists. Wilkins made the All-HCAC for the second consecutive year. The junior from Amelia, Ohio shut-down the opposition from his defender position and also scored two goals and had two assists. Aaron Riley, a senior from Utica, Michigan, scored three goals and had three assists for the Yellow Jackets.
The 2004 Jackets ended the season with a 8-7-3 record overall and a 4-2-1 mark in the HCAC.
