ANDERSON, Ind. - The Defiance College men’s soccer team traveled to Anderson University on Saturday, October 27. The Jackets fell to in their season finale 2-0, dropping their record in the HCAC to 2-5-1. DC finishes in a tie for seventh place in the conference.
The Jackets finished the game with seven shots, led by Anthony Cornell's three shots on goal. Brandon Morgan tallied eight saves on the day, pushing his season total to 109 This season marks the second consecutive year that he has eclipsed the century mark in saves.
Defiance finishes the season 3-13-1 overall, going 3-3-1 over its last seven matches. The end of the season also closes out the careers of DC seniors Michael Bell, Craig Burke, Benji Hughes, Morgan and Ryan Rothermel.
