Jackets Blanked by ‘Berg

--Tiffin, Ohio--The Defiance College Men’s Soccer team lost a close game at Heidelberg College, 1-0, on Friday afternoon.

The ‘Berg scored on a goal from Rob Crook in the 19th minute, and never looked back. Defiance was able to get some decent shots off, but weren’t able to put one in the net. Jeff Meyer did have 5 saves for the Yellow Jackets.

Heidelberg got off 15 shots, and seven corner kicks compared to 12 shots, and 2 corner kicks for the Jackets. There were a total of 26 fouls called, 16 on Heidelberg, and 10 on Defiance. Each team was given one yellow card.

Defiance next plays Siena Heights tomorrow in Tiffin, Ohio.
