Jackets Blank Grace

--Defiance, Ohio—The Defiance College Men’s soccer team defeated Grace Bible College 11-0 on Saturday afternoon in Defiance.

The Jackets jumped out early, and never looked back. Benji Hughes got things started on a goal in the sixth minute on an assist from Kevin Tanceusz. A host of Yellow Jackets tacked on goals in the win, with Brian Ayers earning the ‘hat trick’ with three, and Craig Wilson adding two.

Defiance out shot Grace 37-4, and had control of the ball for nearly the entire game, with five corner kicks, to none for GC.. The Jackets committed eight fouls to nine for Grace.

The win moves Defiance to 5-5-2. They next play Tuesday, October 12 at Manchester.
