Huntington Snaps DC's Two-Game Win Streak

HUNTINGTON, Ind. - Defiance got goals from Daniel Meehan and Michael Bell for the second game in a row, but the host Foresters knocked in a trio of goals in the second half to take the 3-2 victory over the Jackets. The loss snapped DC's two-game win streak and was the final non-conference contest of the season for Defiance.

Meehan gave the Jackets the 1-0 first-half lead with a score in the opening 45 minutes and the score held up until the start of the second half.

Huntington responded with two unanswered goals to open the second half and claim the 2-1 lead.

Bell then scored his fourth goal of the season to knot the scoring at 2-2, but HC eventually knocked in the game-winning tally to take the 3-2 victory.

Defiance (5-10, 3-2 HCAC) gets back into HCAC play on Saturday when it plays at Hanover.
