ANGOLA, Ind. - The Tri-State University put in a pair of first-half goals and added a third tally after the half en route to a 3-0 victory over Defiance on Tuesday night. The game was the third in four nights for the Jackets.

Daniel Durkes got things started for Tri-State with a goal at the 5:10 mark and Sean Porter knocked in a corner kick from Richard Blasey in the 32nd minute to make it a 2-0 ballgame. Tri-State then made it 3-0 in the 68th minute as Kevin Wajert scored an unassisted goal.

Gregory Vogt and Karl Eustache led DC with two shots each and eight other players all had one shot each.

Brandon Morgan played all 90 minutes in the net, allowing the three goals while collecting three saves. Morgan has now played all 270 minutes in goal for DC this season and has 16 total saves.

Defiance (1-2) will have a few days to rest before getting back in action on Saturday at Kalamazoo.
