Jackets edged by a goal

--Defiance, Ohio-- The Defiance College Men's Soccer Team lose a heartbreaker to Tri-State University by the score of 1-0.

The Thunder's lone goal came in the beginning of the second half, as Kevin Wajert slipped a goal past goalkeeper Jeff Meyer on a breakaway. It proved to be the only mark on Meyer's day, as the senior keeper saved 21 of 22 shots on goal.

The Jackets had some trouble getting shots off, as the team had only eight shots on goal, five shots under their season average.

The Yellow Jackets are now 2-4-0 on the year and will continue their homestand Wednesday, September 21 against Heidelberg at 4:00 p.m.
