Defiance Comes Up Short in Match with Adrian
DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance hosted Adrian on Monday afternoon in men’s tennis action and suffered a 5-4 defeat to the visiting Bulldog squad. The Yellow Jackets fall to 5-12 overall with the non-conference loss.

DC found itself in a 3-0 hole after dropping all three doubles matches to Adrian. The Jackets rallied back by scoring victories in four of the six singles competitions, but could not overcome the early deficit.

Tim Kurtz continued his strong play atop the DC lineup with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Chris Ludwig at No. 1 singles. Austin Kleman also dominated his match at No. 2 singles, taking a 6-0, 6-0 win over Orlo Yeagley. Lachmon Bratton and Joe Caig also notched straight-set wins at No. 4 and 5 singles.

DC (5-12) will play at Bluffton on Wednesday at 4:00 pm.
