DC Men’s Tennis lends helping hand to local church

DEFIANCE, Ohio—The DC men’s tennis team assisted the Defiance Christian Church with painting their new facility on Saturday.

The Yellow Jacket student-athletes helped stencil and paint animals on the walls of the children’s classroom, while also mixing paint and assisting members of the church wit various tasks.

This is the first phase of DC Tennis’ involvement with the local church, coordinated by Defiance head men’s tennis coach Brad Harsha and Lisa Girlee, Antwerp High School Art teacher.

Members of the squad assisting with phase one of the project included Mike Mack, Nathan Butler, Jeff Meyer, and David Scott.
