Jacket Tennis takes on Franklin, Transy and Earlham

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—The DC Men’s Tennis team took on conference foes Franklin College and Transylvania University this weekend, while also facing off against Earlham College.

Although the Jackets dropped the three team matches, several Defiance athletes came away with wins. Jared Sponseller defeated Robbie Hughes of Franklin College at #3 singles, while Nathan Butler and Wes Auld won versus Earlham at #2 and #6 singles, respectively.

The Jackets are now 1-3 on the season and will next travel to the University of Findlay to face the Oilers on Wednesday.
