DC Tennis drops last two in Hilton Head

HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Defiance College Men's Tennis team had a rough outing in its last two matchups in Hilton Head, falling to Lake Forest College 9-0 on Wednesday and losing 7-2 to Roger Williams University Friday.

Against Roger Williams, the team got wins in #1 singles and #3 singles. Tim Kurtz beat Jay Dono in the #1 flight 6-4, 7-6 (7-4), while Ashton Converse defeated Kyle Baker 7-6, 2-6, 10-8 in the #3 flight.

Today's match against Greenville College has been cancelled due to rain and will not be made up. DC will return to action next Thursday for its first home match of the season against Adrian College at 4:00 p.m.
