Defiance Stays Hot with 7-2 Win Against Spartans

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance ran its current win streak to three-straight matches with a 7-2 victory over Manchester in men’s tennis action on Thursday evening. The Yellow Jackets now stand at 3-3 in HCAC play with two league matches remaining in the regular season.

DC took control of the match by dominating play in the high seeded contests. The Jackets earned wins at No. 1 and 2 doubles, before putting the match away with singles victories at the top five spots.

Defiance (8-12, 3-3 HCAC) will take the weekend off before playing a non-conference match at Heidelberg on Monday. DC will then host Transylvania and Anderson on Tuesday. The Jackets will take on Transylvania at 12:00 pm and AU at 4:00 pm.
