Jacket Tennis travels to South Carolina

Hilton Head, S.C.—The Defiance College Men’s Tennis squad came back from their spring break trip to South Carolina with a 1-3 record, defeating Webster University 8-1 on Sunday.

In the win over WU, David Scott earned a win at #4 doubles with a 6-3, 6-2 defeat of Conway McDonald, while also teaming with Jeff Meyer for an 8-2 win at #3 doubles. The Yellow Jackets later lost to Heidelberg College 2-7, Principia University 0-9, and Spring Arbor 1-8.

The DC Tennis squad now has a 2-7 record on the season and will next travel to Tri-State University for a Tuesday match with the Thunder starting at 3:30 p.m.
