Four-match win streak for Yellow Jacket Tennis comes to an end

DEFIANCE, Ohio- The DC Yellow Jacket Men’s Tennis team dropped its first conference match of the year, falling to Transylvania University Sunday afternoon by the score 8-1. The loss ends DC’s four-match winning streak, its longest under the campaign of Head Coach Brad Harsha.
Jeff Meyer and Jared Sponseller had their nine-match win streak in #3 doubles snapped by Kyle Herren and Cameron Lowe by the score 8-3. Tyler Ault was able to extend his four-match winning streak in #6 singles, gaining the Jackets’ lone win by beating Cameron Lowe by the score 4-6, 6-2, 10-8.
DC, now 6-10 overall (2-1 HCAC), hosts Tri-State University Monday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
