DC Softball falls to Alma

ADRIAN, Mich.—The Defiance College Softball team ran into a tough Alma College team in Adrian, Michigan on Saturday afternoon, falling 0-10 and 1-10.

In the two games that were moved due to weather and field conditions, the Jackets were rattled by four Scot home runs, while mustering just one run of their own on a Chris Moreo RBI that scored Laurel Palk in game two.

Alicia Allen and Mandy Crank each got a loss on the mound.

Defiance is now 5-5 overall and will host Tri-State University at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday before traveling to Heidelberg at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday and Denison on Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. match up.
