| 2007: Auzins started in all 42 games for the Jackets last season as an outfielder. She finished third on the team in batting, hitting .381 on the year with 28 RBIs. She was in the top five in the HCAC in four different categories; hits, RBIs, total bases and at bats. Her 17-game hitting streak was the longest by any DC player last season. Auzins ranked second on the team with 27 runs scored, while also tallying 11 doubles and two triples. She finished the 2007 season with 15 multi-hit games and six multi-RBI contests.
2006: Amanda Auzins played in 32 games last season, with 21 starts as one of the Yellow Jacket outfielders…She batted .250 with a home run and 10 RBIs…Auzins scored nine runs and tied for the team lead in triples with three…Her best offensive game of the year came on April 13 against Anderson where Auzins went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and three RBIs, including the game-winning base hit in the top of the seventh.
High School: A graduate of Napoleon High School, Auzins was a three-year varsity letterwinner, who earned All-District honors and was also a two-time First-Team All-Conference player…Auzins also earned four varsity letters as a member of the tennis team.
Personal: She is the daughter of Ed and Barb Auzins. She has two siblings, Aaron and Mel…Auzins is also a member of the DC Women’s Tennis Team.
