| 2007: Started 40 games for the Jackets last season...Fourth on the team with 43 hits, while batting .339 on the year...Finished the season with 12 multi-hit games, tallying a 14-game hitting streak along the way...Bushman had 17 RBI's on the season, while also recording seven doubles and scoring 20 runs.
2006: Melanie Bushman was one of three Yellow Jackets to start all 43 games, playing every game at first base…She finished second on the team in average, batting .328, while adding four home runs and 23 RBIs…At one point, she had a team-best 14-game hitting streak, batting .438 over the stretch…One of her best offensive games came on April 21 against Franklin when she went 2-for-3 with three RBIs in a 7-1 win…She was also one of five Yellow Jackets named to the All-HCAC team.
High School: A graduate of William Henry Harrison High School, Bushman broke the school record for career doubles...She also earned All-Conference and All-City honors while playing.
Personal: She is the daughter of Valerie Bushman and has two brothers, Joseph and Jonathan.
