2007: Started all 42 games for Defiance…Hit .290 with 31 hits and 24 runs scored…Swiped two bases over the course of the season, while also tallying nine bases on balls and one double.
2006: Laurel Palk played in 35 games last season with 18 starts, batting .211 with five RBIs and six runs scored…One of her best offensive games of the season was a two-hit, two-RBI performance in a 10-1 win against Mount St. Joseph on April 29.
2005: Palk played in 36 games, where she batted .213 with three RBIs and 18 runs scored.
High School: A graduate of Grand Ledge High School, Palk earned First Team CAAC, LSJ All-Area D1, and All-District Team accolades as a senior…A member of the National Honor Society, she also received the CAAC All-Academic Award.
Personal: She is the daughter of Ron and Gee Palk and has one brother, Devon, who is also a member of the DC Football team.
