2006: Monica Sigurdson made all 43 starts for the Yellow Jackets at third base in 2006…She batted .269 with 13 RBIs and seven runs scored…One of her best games of the season was a four-hit, two-RBI performance in a 10-1 win against Mount St. Joseph on April 29.
2005: Sigurdson started in 36 of 37 games played, batting .228 with a home run and 10 RBIs…She also scored 14 runs and was second on the team with seven sacrifice bunts…A patient player at the plate, Sigurdson had 12 walks on the season and was proficient at getting on base, finishing with a .423 OBP...She was also named to the NCAA New Concord All Regional Tournament Team at third base for her play during the postseason.
2004: Sigurdson won a letter for the Lady Jackets after seeing action in 24 games at third base.
High School: Sigurdson is a graduate of Clay High School where she earned First Team All-District and All-GLL honors in her senior and sophomore seasons...Sigurdson also played tennis and earned MVP honors in 2003.
Personal: She is the daughter of James and Angela Sigurdson and has one sister, Emily.
